Feeling is the Secret
Feeling is the Secret. Feeling the wish fullfilled is the ability to be in tune with our feelings and is the key on the road to achieving whatever it is we want for ourselves. Implement the conscious-subconscious relationship and notice the world of difference it will make in your life.
Everything that happens to a man is a result of how he is feeling and how that feeling translates into the subconscious. A few things you must do to make a better life for yourself are
Taking control of your feelings: As we have come to understand that the life we live is controlled solely by our conscious, the first thing to do to attain our goal of a better life is to take control of our feelings. When we create thoughts of happiness, we live a full and happy life but when we entertain sad and undesirable thoughts, the subconscious works with that feeling and gives us just that, a life of sadness.
Letting go of imperfections: To let go of imperfections is to be on the road to perfection. Thinking imperfect thoughts about ourselves or others only makes the consciousness aware of our limitations, which are then impressed on the subconscious.
Counteracting the negatives: It has been established that every feeling makes a subconscious impression that is then birthed into our existence, but a more powerful feeling can be expressed to make sure the negatives do not manifest. Confessing that you are healthy, is better than confessing that you will be healthy. “I am healthy” is a positive statement, filled with the belief of health, but “I will be healthy” means that you are not in fact healthy at the time.
Understanding the difference between wanting and being: Our feelings about what we think of ourselves will constantly dominate what we want for ourselves. In order to get what we want, we must embrace the wanting as though we have already gotten it. We must live and feel the way we would if our wishes had already come true.
Your feelings create the pattern from which your world is fashioned, and a change of feeling is a change of pattern.
Neville Lancelot Goddard (1905-1972) was a prophet, profoundly influential teacher, and author. He did not associate himself as a metaphysician, with any ‘ism’ or ‘New Thought’ teaching as commonly advertised by these collective groups. Goddard was sent to illustrate the teachings of psychological truth intended in the Biblical teachings, and restore awareness of meaning to what the ancients intended to tell the world.
In his early lectures and books Neville dealt solely with what he called The Law, the technique of creating one’s physical reality through imagining. It is this portion of his expression that most closely accords with the teachings of the New Thought movement. In describing The Law, Neville related how he made a sea voyage from New York to see his family in Barbados during the Depression, without any money of his own.
In the epilogue of his lifetime, Neville expressed his conviction that ‘The Promise’ has been fully formed in him and as such, he has fulfilled his own destiny. He also expressed the unification of all man even after the death of a fulfilled Promise.
On October 1, 1972, Neville Goddard went to the great beyond at the age of 67. However, his legacies and teachings are still permanent in our world.
All his lectures and original audio files are free available.
